Before any of it is required at all.
People, again, are getting ahead of themselves. At least a lifetime ahead of themselves. But I guess people cannot live without such things. Scratch beneath the surface and all you see is an immature philosophy, and limited knowledge, all covered up by a semi-professional looking political structure.
How many times has this been done before? Far too many.
You know what will happen. There will be disagreements, and people will write essays about how member x has contravened the guidelines or gone against the constitution of the site. Again, they will put more thought and effort into petty political nonsense than they do into anything substantial. And why? Because it enables them to hide from the truth for that little bit longer.
Ultimately, sites will splinter again, there will be spin-offs and everyone will be even more disunited.
Then, there will be mergers, people will make up, and vow not to make the same mistakes again. They will build a new system....which in time will fail again.
It's a charade that's been going on for long enough, and people thrive in it, and that is sad.
Of course, someone will say "it's different this time", someone always does. But it is NOT different. It is simply another un-necessary and unwaranted political structure. It is built to appease the desire of certain people to hold positions of some authority- regardless of how empty and insubstantial the decisions are to be made.
I hope you are ready for more failure.
